Before launching Petra, our founder spent more than a decade working in technology and cybersecurity—an industry where systems must perform flawlessly, dependability is key, and failure is not an option. That background shaped a deep respect for precision, documentation, and repeatability. At the same time, there was always a pull toward hands-on work and the craft of machining—building real, physical components where accuracy can be measured down to the micron.

With a long lineage of blacksmiths and engineers, Petra was founded to bring those two worlds together to create success in metalworking and precision.

Though we are a young company, our approach is rooted in process and obsession with detail. We specialize in CNC machining and lathe work, producing components that meet exacting specifications across a wide range of industries.
